Once upon a time there was August 7th 2018
The whole world changed for me that day.
The earth continued to spin but stopped dead for me.
That was the day I discovered my cancer at the back of my tongue. I knew what it was the instant my finger found it. I sat on it for two days in disbelief and panic. Why me? Of course the answer to that is Why not me?

Today my coffee tastes like Christmas in Costa Rica 
Dani, you have become someone I would class as a good friend. As you know, my husband was diagnosed with HPV tonsil cancer in September 2019 at the same time as I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer. It was a tough time and I can honestly say you made it easier to get through. We have our “up and down” days but mainly “up” and I’m glad to say I share many of these days with friends such as you that we have met along the way. Xxx
